Student recruitment
Finding the students in the countries where they are, and walking them from first inquiry to enrolment: the application, the consultancy, the follow-through that turns interest into an arrival.
International Relations & Higher Education · Istanbul
I recruit international students across Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey, and I build the university and agency partnerships that bring them in.

I work in international education. I bring students from across Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey to universities in Istanbul, and I build the partnerships, with schools, agencies, and institutions, that keep them coming. Half of the work is relationships and half is on the ground: the fairs, the school and high-school visits, the consultancy desk, the meeting that only happens in person. I do this now for Medipol University, and before it for Fenerbahçe, opening new countries and the networks that carry them.
I am Moroccan, I live in Istanbul, and I work in six languages, four of them since childhood. Those languages are why a conversation with a family in Casablanca, an agency in Tunis, or a school in Nairobi goes differently when I am in the room. In this field trust is most of the work, and whether the person across the table believes you understand where they sit. That is the part I am best at. I trained first in purchasing, through internships with Renault and OCP, which taught me to study a place before I trust a word of it. Outside the work, I write poetry. It is probably why I would rather listen first.

Finding the students in the countries where they are, and walking them from first inquiry to enrolment: the application, the consultancy, the follow-through that turns interest into an arrival.
Signing and keeping the schools, agencies, and institutions that feed a pipeline, and the agreements and incentives that keep them performing a year in.
The part that only happens in person. The fair, the delegation, the school and high-school visit, the consultancy desk. This work is still won face to face, and that is where I am most useful.
Six languages, four of them since childhood. The reason a meeting in Casablanca, Tunis, or Nairobi goes differently when I am in the room.
Feb 2026 – Present
I lead Medipol’s international student recruitment end to end — opening new countries, signing the school and agency partnerships that feed them, and running the lead-generation pipelines, marketing, and call-centre team that turn a first inquiry into an enrolled student. I am building AI-assisted workflows into that operation to make it faster and sharper.
Sep 2022 – Feb 2026
I ran international recruitment across the Middle East and North Africa: studying each country and visiting partners, finding and signing partner agencies, setting the incentives that kept them performing, running international fairs, and taking students from first interest to enrolment. At the fairs and across the table, I was the university’s face.
Jan 2020 – Sep 2022
I ran recruitment and the commercial side for an education consultancy: the agreements with universities and agencies, the student pipeline on a CRM, the campaigns, and the mentoring of students through application and arrival. As senior specialist I planned and produced a multi-city education fair across Tangier and Casablanca on my own, running the university meetings, the school and high-school visits, and the consultancy on site.
2018 – 2019
Supplier-market studies, need analysis, and specifications, then a graduation-project sourcing strategy for one of the region’s largest car plants.
2017 – 2018
Purchasing fundamentals, inventory and supply management, and negotiation, at Morocco’s largest industrial group.
2017
The legal and normative groundwork of sourcing, and the cost-price of a product.
